About Us

Köz Terrace was born inside a historic building in Karaköy, one of Istanbul’s most established neighbourhoods. “Köz” (embers) is more than a cooking method for us — it is a symbol of patience, craft and sharing.

At our place on Necatibey Street, we prepare every plate the traditional way: from hand-chopped Adana kebab to charcoal-grilled lamb chops, from homemade mezes to smoked eggplant. In the shadow of Galata Tower and the breeze of Galataport, we serve an authentic Turkish table to locals and travellers alike.
